About the Position

As a Licensed Mechanic with First Student Canada-Transco, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of school buses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Conduct safety inspections and annual MTO maintenance inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with mobile emergency services and provide support to other maintenance personnel as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Holds an S and/or T license.
  • Possess a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
