Job Title: Deskside Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing intermediate IMAC activities, handling software installation and support, and providing first-level Help Desk support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other hardware deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and POS devices.
  • Handle software installation and support, including upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Provide first-level Help Desk support, including responding to and resolving customer inquiries.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities, including bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
  • Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish ETAs, and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
  • 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • Vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules.
  • Diploma from a recognized IT program.
