At Prince Edward County Counselling and Psychotherapy, we are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This is a permanent position, with the possibility of flexible hours ranging from 1 to 30 hours per week.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a Master's degree in their field and experience working in a clinic setting. They will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes, as well as examining behavior and providing therapy. The therapist will also be required to interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems, among other duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial or territorial professional association;
- Provincial license or registration;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Interpersonal awareness and efficient interpersonal skills;
- Reliability and dependability;
- Organized and accurate;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, we also offer opportunities for professional development and growth.
