Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Wireless Cost Optimization, this role will lead the financial planning and analysis for the Retail Channels Organization. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the reporting, forecasting and analytical insights for our group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review monthly results vs. budget and forecast and provide key variance analysis
  • Identify risks and opportunities and incorporate into plans & forecasts
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting and analyses to support operational review
  • Provide financial support on special projects, business case development, financial models for strategy development and evaluation of business opportunities to achieve cost savings
  • Be an effective Business Partner with VPs and Directors in order assess and review operating costs providing key insights required for decision making
  • Assist in the consolidation of RCI Wireless OPEX results
  • Develop and implement process improvements to create efficiencies and ensure adequate documentation is maintained
  • Effectively manage, coach and develop a team of Senior Financial Analysts.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA - CA, CMA, CGA) or equivalent accounting experience.
  • 3 – 6 years of progressive experience in the areas financial planning and analysis
  • Experience working on large projects including collaboration with extended teams.
  • Excellent software skills in MS Office and Oracle Financial System is an asset.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you
