As a Manager, Data Science, you will lead a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing, and applying Machine Learning models. Your goal will be to help build the industry's best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated and engaged in an agile environment and helping them grow their careers.


Collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases, and implement solutions. You will work with a talented team to drive business growth and innovation by harnessing the power of data science and AI.


We are seeking a Data Science leader who is passionate about driving business outcomes through data-driven insights and has a strong background in machine learning and data science. Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in designing, developing, and applying Machine Learning models.
  • Help build the industry's best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated and engaged in an agile environment and helping them grow their careers.
  • Collaborate with partners across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases, and implement solutions.

Requirements:



  • Minimum of five years' professional experience in an analytical and innovative environment, including at least two years in management or coaching.
  • Data science enthusiast with a background in a related field, including (but not limited to): Machine learning, Computer science, Software engineering, Physics, Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • Understanding of underlying Machine Learning theory and the Predictive Modeling Lifecycle.
  • Previous experience in insurance or finance is an asset.
  • Strong communication, time management, and work organization skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with a English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
