About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facility Cleaner to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a Facility Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all participants, adhering to the YMCA Service Orientation competency model standard.
- Clean and maintain all assigned areas, including floors, showers, washrooms, and other facilities.
- Restock cleaning supplies, towels, and other essentials as needed.
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar environment, with the ability to use various cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to take direction, work well with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment.
- WHMIS certificate and Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED is an asset.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
