About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join WTW's (Willis Towers Watson) Crb Graduate Development Program as a Broking Analyst. The program is designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks to support the placement of client risks into the market.
  • Create Loss Summaries, review program binders for accuracy, check policies, and aid brokers & senior brokers.
  • Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery with the support of more experienced brokers.
  • Review quotes against specifications and develop side-by-side comparisons with the support of more experienced brokers.
  • Prepare program proposals with the support of more experienced brokers.
  • Develop client and prospect presentations to secure new, and build on existing, relationships with the support of more experienced brokers.
  • Assist on any deliverables for Client Renewal Strategy Meeting & RFPs.
  • Research market solutions to learn how to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate initial introductions to carrier and trading partners.
  • Begin your understanding of core insurance principles and brokerage concepts.
  • Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to.
  • Record and maintain all information accurately on the appropriate systems, including initial introduction to and utilization of Broking Platform.
  • Obtain the required insurance license within ninety (90) days of your date of hire.
  • You must also obtain and maintain an active surplus lines license for your resident state within 120 days of either: (a) your date of hire, if you already hold a resident state insurance license upon your date of hire; or (b) within 120 days of obtaining your resident state insurance license, if you do not already hold a resident state insurance license upon your date of hire.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Preferred Majors: Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Liberal Arts, Geology (BS), Environmental Geology (BS), Sociology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate to advance Excel skills.
  • Demonstration of strong time and task management skills.
  • Ability to take direction, receive constructive feedback and deliver accurate work product.
  • Relationship management and customer focus; ability to interface with customers and collaborate internally with teammates to serve customers.
