About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Disinfect Solutions. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our commercial facilities, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Cleaning Activities: Oversee the daily cleaning operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist Cleaners in Performing Duties: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning activities are coordinated and aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Commercial facility, shopping centre, or mall.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability.
