The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable our development teams to build, test, and release software efficiently. Your primary objective will be to streamline software development, deployment, and operations using modern tools, technologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure to support our software applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure requirements.
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues within the infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud security and data protection.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents, working closely with software developers to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide timely response to critical incidents and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
  • Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the existing infrastructure.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide the necessary infrastructure and tools to support their workflows.
  • Research and recommend innovative solutions, and where possible, automate key administration tasks.
  • Provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Overall, 8 + years of experience working on DevOps technologies.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Ansible, Shell scripting, database queries
  • Expert in PHP
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, VPN, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with hardware components, server provisioning, and data center operations.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and task orchestration.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Lxc, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Complete proficiency in Linux, especially on the CLI.
  • Experience with tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure
  • The candidate is expected to have a strong knowledge of the CICD development process and experience with any well-known CI platforms like Jenkins, Bitbucket CI, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
  • Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders to drive success.
  • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing applications and infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes for managing containerized applications at scale.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk to track system performance, detect issues, and maintain system health.
