About the Role
ADGA Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to provide technical writing support to one of our large Defence programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and develop sustainment business case analysis (SBCA) documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Assist the SBCA team in preparing defence procurement strategy governance presentations, industry engagement plans, and completing SBCA reports.
- Review previous programs/lessons learned in presentation style and language, and implement upcoming SBCA's as needed.
- Provide written reports in final camera-ready copy, utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- Analyze material, such as specifications, notes, drawings, and other documents to explain requirements clearly and concisely.
- Gather information, analyze the subject and audience, and produce clear documentation.
- Study existing material and interview internal and external SBCA stakeholders.
- Create accurate, complete, and concise documentation to communicate business case requirements.
- Review, develop, and edit SBCA documents, drawings, and associated data for conformance to established standards and governmental publishing guidelines.
Qualifications
- University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering, Computer Technology, or Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in technical writing, including planning, researching, gathering information, and authoring technical documentation.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in preparing business correspondence and reports in the field of Information Technology.
- Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience in preparing technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology/Information management or engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in providing advice and/or guidance on technical writing issues or providing verbal briefings/presentations on a technical topic.
