Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director of Food and Beverage Operations to join our team at Compass Group North America. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations at Rogers Place, Home of the Edmonton Oilers, Ice District, and Fan Park at Rogers Place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Drive financial profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the control of all purchasing, implement cost controls, and ensure exceptional customer and client relations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Build and maintain positive relations with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, and construct a high-performing operations team.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with Compass Group North America's goals and objectives.
  • Reputation Management: Protect the company's reputation by proactively addressing key issues and promoting positive storytelling.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in food and beverage management in a sports and entertainment atmosphere.
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data metrics effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation building and delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Expertise in Windows-based office software.
