Victim Services Liaison

We are seeking a skilled Victim Services Navigator to join our team at the Department of Justice. In this role, you will provide critical support to victims of crime, assisting them throughout the criminal justice process.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Provincial Victim Services Program, ensuring compliance with the rights of victims under the Victim's Rights and Services Act and other relevant legislation.
- Provide information and support services directly to victims, acting as a liaison between victims and justice personnel.
- Assist victims in accessing Criminal Injuries Counselling and preparing Victim Impact Statements.
- Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of client information.
- Three years of related experience, preferably in client services or a similar field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system and community resources.
