About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at BSW BEAUTY SUPPLY O/A REX BEAUTY INC. in a full-time permanent position.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high sales standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties effectively, ensuring seamless coverage and optimal productivity.
  • Hire and train staff members or arrange for their training to ensure they meet our expectations.
  • Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Order merchandise promptly to maintain an attractive and well-stocked store environment.
  • Exercise discretion when authorizing the return of merchandise to avoid potential losses.
  • Develop work schedules that balance employee needs with business requirements.
  • Sell merchandise effectively, utilizing strong product knowledge to drive sales.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising strategies, and personnel matters to inform informed business decisions.
  • Proactively resolve any issues that arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other challenges.
  • Maintain organized and efficient inventory systems to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees to achieve collective goals.

Salary and Work Arrangements

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, based on industry standards and market conditions in your area. This full-time position comes with 40 hours of work per week, offering a stable and secure income.
