Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team as an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, working collaboratively with the team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and maintaining a high level of plant safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including disassembling and reassembling machinery, overhauling gearboxes, and replacing bearings.
  • Work effectively with the team to identify and resolve equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective work planning processes, utilizing work orders, planners, and part staging.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license preferred.
  • Proven experience in mechanical and troubleshooting skills, preferably with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Familiarity with computer programs and ability to adapt quickly.
Compensation and Benefits

As an Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist at Labatt Breweries Canada, you can expect a competitive salary of $40.10 per hour after successful completion of probation and training. In addition to a comprehensive health benefits plan, retirement plan, and access to wellbeing resources, you will also receive an annual allotment of beer and beyond-beer products.
