We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Golden Gate Construction Ltd. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Read Blueprints: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix and Pour Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist in Framing: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work to ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Operate Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites as required.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. You will also be exposed to noisy, dusty, and hot conditions.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
