Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and support at various City arenas and pools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons, including answering questions and assisting with their needs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of public and employee areas at all times.
- Enforce skate and swim program rules and regulations.
- Perform on-ice Skate Patrol and various maintenance duties, including equipment setup and removal.
- Operate assigned equipment, such as floor scrubbers and power washers.
- Report any incidents or damages to the supervisor on duty.
Requirements:
- Availability to work 16 to 24 hours per week, including weeknights and weekends.
- Own CSA-approved safety footwear, skates, and helmet.
- Strong skating skills and knowledge of safe on-ice practices.
- Ability to work effectively with the public and as part of a team.
- Valid certification in Standard First Aid and CPR with AED.
- Proven completion of Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training.
Work Location: Various City Arenas
Hours of Work: Up to 24 hours per week
