Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Provide education and support to customers on the correct use of self-service options, promoting a seamless shopping experience.
  • Upsell and promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete the necessary documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the Customer Service Manager to resolve technical issues and maintain adequate cash levels in the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong commitment to customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring a clean and organized self-service area.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of self-service technology and its applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
