Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
- Provide education and support to customers on the correct use of self-service options, promoting a seamless shopping experience.
- Upsell and promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives.
- Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Respond to EAS alarms and complete the necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the Customer Service Manager to resolve technical issues and maintain adequate cash levels in the self-service area.
- Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong commitment to customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring a clean and organized self-service area.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations.
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Knowledge of self-service technology and its applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
This role is based at our Walmart Canada location at 2320 Hwy 2, Bowmanville, ON L1C 0K5, Canada.
