About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineering Lead to join our Carmeuse Systems team. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling activities within the project engineering group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in the growth and development of project engineering activities
  • Consult with clients to explain proposals for change and present engineering reports and findings
  • Attend client meetings and project review meetings as needed
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work within the department
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance to ISO 9001 requirements
  • Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the project engineering team
  • Mentor and coach project engineering team members
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' related experience leading teams in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree (mechanical preferred) or Professional Engineer certification
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering systems and processes
  • Effective delegation and distribution of workload; professional development and growth of team members
  • Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups
