Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure is essential. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: Bilingual (English and French).
