Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Listowel Physiotherapy & Health Care Centre.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. This is a permanent, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Carry out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Process files and paperwork.
Requirements
  • Licensure by a provincial/territorial regulatory body for Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
