SAP Director for Asset Reliability and Food Safety

The Opportunity:
The Director of IT Procurement and Asset Reliability will be responsible for the day-to-day support of associated systems and processes, as well as the implementation of new applications and cross-functional projects that impact their functional areas.
This role will work closely with the VP of Applications to ensure the successful implementation of solutions, provide input into system selection business cases, and manage day-to-day support of business issues, change requests, and team management across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Systems include S/4 (MM, SRM, PM, MRS, QM) and LabVantage LIMS.
The position will collaborate with business stakeholders such as the corporate Asset Reliability group, Corporate Purchasing, and Corporate FSQA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an IS partner to the Business by bringing a deep SAP functional skillset and extensive knowledge of best practices.
- Gather business requirements and assess software against business needs.
- Scope effort and timelines for input into Business Cases and Capital Requests.
- Work with other directors to architect and deliver effective solutions on time and on budget.
- Participate in Master Data Governance.
What You'll Bring:
- Deep SAP experience with 12-15 years of implementation experience across large-scale projects ($3-7M).
- Demonstrated personal leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others regardless of their level in the organization.
- Work seamlessly across functions.
- Act on convictions, not afraid to take risks, insists on being heard.
- Demonstrated SAP knowledge of MM, SRM, PM, MRS, QM in S/4 or ECC and Ariba.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems such as LabVantage (nice to have).
- Experience with mobile solutions and analytic solutions such as Microsoft PowerBI.
- Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
- Proven evaluator and developer of talent.
- Ability to communicate concisely and precisely both verbally and in written form.
- Exceptional organization leadership, ability to manage time, set priorities, and work efficiently under pressure.
- High intellect with ability to adjust quickly to circumstances without losing sight of own responsibilities and organizational goals.
