Job Summary

Mandy and Raj's Valu-Mart is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll transactions, including preparing statements of earnings and deductions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and overtime
  • Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
  • Administer benefits, including pension plans, leaves, and employment insurance
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and management
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in payroll or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Word
