Store Operations Manager

The New Myna Convenience and Apartments is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating their effectiveness, and implementing improvements as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including managing staff, assigning duties, and determining merchandise and services to be sold.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Regularly assess the effectiveness of our daily operations and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives, including managing budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train staff, assign duties, and ensure that all employees are working effectively to achieve business objectives.
- Determine Merchandise and Services to be Sold: Analyze market trends and customer needs to determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold in our store.
- Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise for Resale: Source and purchase merchandise and services that meet our business objectives and customer needs.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make adjustments as needed to ensure the financial health of our store.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Analyze business needs and determine the number of staff required to achieve business objectives.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in the store.
- Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff and/or Volunteers: Recruit, hire, and train staff and/or volunteers to ensure that our store has the necessary personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll, including processing paychecks, benefits, and other employee-related tasks.Supervision
- 1 to 2 People: Supervise a team of 1 to 2 people, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are working effectively to achieve business objectives.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience in our store.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, ensuring that our store remains competitive and effective.
- Organized: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that merchandise and services are displayed effectively and efficiently.
- Team Player: Collaborate with staff and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives, ensuring that our store remains a positive and productive work environment.
- Ability to Multitask: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
- Work Term: Permanent: Work in a permanent role, ensuring that our store remains a stable and secure work environment.
- Work Language: English: Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders in English, ensuring that business objectives are achieved.
- Hours: 40 hours per week: Work 40 hours per week, ensuring that our store remains open and operational during business hours.
