We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at BOREAL GROUP INC. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as maintain accurate records of tax payments.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Language: English.
