Accounting Specialist

At Canada Inc., we are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
