Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at CB Canada. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage and maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring all financial documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Correspond with vendors and clients, resolving any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely payment and accurate billing.
  • Process and reconcile cash deposits, cheques, and electronic funds transfers, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely payment.
  • Review and analyze financial reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as required, such as credit applications and customer credit limit management.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Previous accounting experience, preferably in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
