About the Position:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at MacLean Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of stock levels and movements.
  • Coordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of warehouse activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion.
  • Diploma or Degree in Materials Management or a related discipline is an asset.
  • Previous experience in an MRP/ERP environment is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MRP/ERP) is required.
