About the Role

PAL Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Structural Assessment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis, including static, dynamic, fatigue, and damage tolerance assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design of aircraft structures, including finite element modeling and stress analysis.
  • Develop and implement inspection programs based on fatigue and damage tolerance assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations and standards.
  • Prepare engineering reports and documentation, including certification reports and compliance reports.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to other engineering functions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably aerospace or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical engineering role supporting aircraft development, modifications, and/or repairs.
  • Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and standards from Transport Canada, FAA, and/or EASA.
  • Experience with CAD software, finite element modeling software, and fatigue and damage tolerance software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
