Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Stuart Nechako Manor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing direct patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Work with patients and families to promote health and well-being
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
