At CO_3200 Canem Systems Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for the effective preparation of detailed estimates for commercial, institutional, and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, engineers, and contractors in the industry.
  • Preparing mechanical budgets based on preliminary sketches, specifications, and other related information.
  • Coordinating and preparing for pre-tender site tours and participating in project site visits as requested.
  • Setting up data for estimates in computer programs and reviewing and confirming estimate information prior to tender closing.
  • Providing training and assistance for new and existing staff in estimating and change orders procedures.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
  • 10+ years' hands-on experience with Mechanical construction projects.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Estimator and informal or formal leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in estimating a full range of project delivery methods (Bid and Tender, IPD, Design build) of ICI construction project up to $100+ million in Mechanical.
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or other equivalent construction program or certification in one of the mechanical trades.
