Wood is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Minerals and Metals team in Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support I&C engineering consulting projects for mining, metallurgical or similar process industries.
  • Apply CSA, ISA and IEEE standards to designs, including the Canadian Electrical Code.
  • Develop and implement automation and control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with automation and control systems specialization.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in the province of British Columbia or ability to register within 3 months.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in I&C engineering consulting projects.
  • Strong knowledge of automation and control systems, including database experience (AVEVA Instrumentation).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with mining and mineral processing facilities design.
  • Site experience and pre-commissioning and startup experience.
  • Leadership experience as a lead discipline engineer.
