Job Summary

Olympic Controls is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. As an Instrumentation Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining various instruments and systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test instruments and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and adjustments to system components as needed
  • Complete detailed reports on maintenance and testing activities
  • Remove and replace defective parts to ensure optimal system performance
  • Calibrate instruments and components to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Determine and implement testing and maintenance procedures to minimize downtime
  • Install new measuring instruments and equipment as required
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work to prevent system failures
Requirements
  • Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Instrumentation and Control Technicians (Red Seal)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliability and ability to work independently
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in instrumentation and maintenance
