About the Job

This hybrid position combines the leadership responsibilities of a Scrum Master with the strategic focus of a Product Owner, tailored to enhance and strengthen our cybersecurity posture. As the Senior Scrum Master / Product Owner, you will work closely with the development teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of cybersecurity solutions, while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sprint Facilitation & Management: Lead and facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with the team's objectives and a focus on delivering key cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Backlog Prioritization & Management: Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring that items related to cybersecurity enhancements are prioritized and meet the business's needs and goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact between the cybersecurity teams and other stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable deliverables and ensuring clear communication across teams.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to cybersecurity development, proactively addressing them to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Metrics Development & Tracking: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the scrum process and the overall impact of security products on the company's cybersecurity posture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Scrum Master/Product Owner roles within the cybersecurity field.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies, with a solid track record of handling security-related projects.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Product Owner (CPO) or equivalent certifications.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Performance Indicators:
  • Sprint Success Rate: Measure the percentage of sprints that achieve their planned objectives, ensuring timely delivery of cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Backlog Health: Regularly assess and update the backlog to ensure its alignment with the cybersecurity strategy and its relevance to the organization's goals.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Continuously gather feedback from stakeholders through structured feedback loops to ensure that their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Risk Mitigation Effectiveness: Track and report the success of risk management efforts, assessing how well cybersecurity risks are identified and mitigated during development.
