Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Worker to join our team at Apple Hill Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
  • Read Blueprints: Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed.
  • Assist in Framing: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and Pile Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
Work Environment

As a Construction Worker at Apple Hill Construction, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
