Job Title: Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Apple Hill Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements, ensuring accurate interpretation and execution of construction plans.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to facilitate construction progress and maintain site safety.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, following established procedures and quality control standards.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working collaboratively with other tradespeople to achieve project milestones.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools, ensuring optimal performance and extending their lifespan.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to environmental and safety regulations.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Health care plan and other benefits.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 40 hours per week of work.
