Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Shoprite Smoke Shop LTD.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning duties, hiring and training new employees, ordering merchandise, and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and tasks.
- Hire, train, and develop new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need.
- Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed.
- Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to youth.
- Provide coaching and networking opportunities for youth.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
