About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and growth-focused Broker Associate to join our retail division based out of our Bloor-Yorkville office. In this key role, you will assist our top-tier retail team in driving sales activities for the firm. You will proactively help identify new business opportunities through warm connections, cold outreach, and telephone and email prospecting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop your professional interpersonal skills to establish and sustain relationships throughout the marketplace
  • Develop business using entrepreneurial and out-of-the-box thought process
  • Support senior level brokers in transaction management (i.e., identifying space opportunities, scheduling tours, drafting proposals, providing lease comments and input on financial analyses)
  • Assemble space reports for client requirements by conducting market surveys, making calls to landlords and brokers, and identifying which buildings/spaces are worthwhile to present to a client
  • Provide potential leads, schedule meetings, and stay in frequent contact with potential clients
  • Research company growth and structure, building rollovers and leverage windows
  • Consistently develop your market knowledge to assist in identifying projects that Savills' capabilities best align with
  • Assist in updating the team's materials (i.e., comp maps and matrices) for meetings

About You

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in commercial real estate
  • 1+ years' experience and success cold calling and/or business development
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of retail nodes in Toronto
  • Real Estate License in Ontario or willingness to get licensed
