Job SummaryThis is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure quality or detect defects, establishing NDI techniques and calibration standards, and setting up and operating radiographic equipment.
Responsibilities- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using various nondestructive testing methods such as liquid penetrant, visual inspection, and ultrasonic.
- Establish and maintain calibration standards and techniques for nondestructive testing equipment.
- Set up, operate, and interpret radiographic, magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment.
- Develop and interpret radiographic film.
- Maintain test result reports and instruct trainees on proper procedures.
- A College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of nondestructive testing principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to safety regulations. The position involves working with various types of equipment and materials, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, and a pension plan, we also offer opportunities for professional development and growth.
