About the Opportunity

This is a unique role within our Nutrition and Food Services team, where you will work closely with our Clinical Dietitian to identify patients at risk and provide nutrition education and support.

As a Dietetic Technician, you will conduct nutrition risk screening, interview patients, and document pertinent information. You will also be responsible for completing menu management activities, including visiting patients through meal rounds and inputting meal and/or nourishment information into our computerized menu management system.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication and teaching skills. You will have a general knowledge of the function and operation of Food and Nutrition Services, with particular knowledge of quantity and quality food service to patients.

This is a casual relief position, working 3% of the time, with shiftwork, call, rotation, and other flexible scheduling arrangements.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.81 - $27.05, with 11% in lieu of benefits, holidays, and vacation.
