About the Opportunity

As a Dietetic Technician with Nova Scotia Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nutrition services to patients. Under the direction of the Manager of Nutrition & Food Services, you will conduct nutrition risk screening, identify patients at risk, and refer them to the Clinical Dietitian. You will also be responsible for completing various menu management activities, including visiting patients through meal rounds and inputting meal and/or nourishment information into the computerized menu management system.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in food and nutrition. You will have a Food Service Supervisor certification or acceptable equivalent, as well as general knowledge of the function and operation of Food and Nutrition Services. You will also have excellent communication, teaching, time management, and organizational skills.

Hours
  • Permanent, Part-Time / 37.5 Hours Biweekly
Compensation and Benefits

$23.81 - $27.05 Hourly
