About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Philanthropy Development Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Canadians who are blind or partially sighted.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive individual strategies for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors. They will also maintain a stewardship portfolio, ensuring that donors receive personalized correspondence, reports, and updates in a timely and professional manner.

About the Position

This is a full-time position based in Vancouver, BC, with a salary range of $67,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of recent related experience and a post-secondary education in fundraising, sales/marketing, communications, or business administration.

The successful candidate will also possess strong analytical, strategic planning, time management, and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. They will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
