As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, delivering cutting-edge medical services, and contributing to the advancement of our hospital's mission.
ResponsibilitiesWe invite applications from experienced Nurse Practitioners who possess a deep understanding of hematology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to diagnose diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Initiating treatment plans, including health care management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Providing professional guidance to other healthcare professionals and participating autonomously as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Collaborating with clients and other healthcare professionals to identify and assess trends and patterns that have implications for clients, families, and communities.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Four (4) years of recent, and relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
