Clinical Psychologist

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the East Coast Forensic Hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and psychotherapy services to patients. Your expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments, including violence risk, personality, and cognitive skills, will be invaluable in our efforts to provide high-quality care.
You will work closely with other team members to develop and implement treatment plans, and participate in the predoctoral internship program and supervision of practicum students. Your ability to work effectively with resistant and challenging client groups will be essential in this role.
We are looking for a candidate with a recognized MSc in Clinical Psychology, registration with the NSBEP, and a minimum of two years relevant clinical experience. Preference will be given to those with violence risk assessment training and experience in a forensic inpatient setting.

- Permanent, Full-time / % FTE / 75 Hours Bi-weekly

$37.31 - $49.05 Hourly
