Release Manager

Resonaite is seeking a skilled Release Manager to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for coordinating the release of our products to ensure timely and successful deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain release schedules to align with business goals and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews and serve as the primary point of contact for all release-related activities.
  • Implement and refine release management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and organizational policies for all releases.
  • Automate release processes, incorporating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Identify, document, and mitigate release-related risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in release management or a similar role in a software development environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in development/devops with proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git, for managing codebases and collaboration.
  • Proficiency with release management tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and JIRA.
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages, such as Python and YAML.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency with Cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management software, such as MS Project, Trello, and PowerBI.
  • A strong understanding of software development methodologies, ISO 27001, and ITIL 4 best practices.
