Strategic Development Program Trainee

EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Strategic Development Program Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow with a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products for the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Progress through a 5-phased program to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business operations, including shipping and receiving, sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and more.
  • Develop skills in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, pricing, credit management, financial statements, and project management.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in sales, marketing, and leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • College or university degree
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
