Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Support Specialist to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their operational requirements and provide timely and professional support.
  • Investigate and respond to service, warranty, customer, and production inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Regularly follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of jobs and provide updates on the status of repairs.
  • Estimate and quote repairs, and obtain Purchase Orders (POs) as required.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical service, parts, warranty, or repair from a dealership or similar industry, with prior Caterpillar product line experience preferred.
  • Completion of technical training and education in a relevant area, such as Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or other discipline, would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, project management, and customer service experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
