We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at JBH Truck Centre Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across long distances.
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain the condition of the vehicle and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation logistics.
- Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- AZ class license and relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as required.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
