Job Title: Welder

Simon Transportation Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape and prepare metal for welding.
  • Determine weldability of materials and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal to ensure strong and durable welds.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work at heights.
Working Conditions:

The Welder will work in a manufacturing environment with a team of skilled technicians and engineers. The work will involve working with various types of metal alloys, including aluminum, stainless steel, and steel.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Welder will work 37.5 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
