About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Port Moody Kidz Venture Club Ltd. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Schedule and confirm appointments for our staff and management team
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as needed
  • Communication and Correspondence
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to the appropriate staff member
    • Respond to electronic enquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner
  • Administrative Support
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
    • Perform data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks
    • Prepare and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in Google Docs, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Personal Suitability
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
    • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
    • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and Education
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluent in English or French
    • 30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position
