Collision Center Operations Manager

We are a leading provider of housing services, seeking an experienced Collision Center Operations Manager to join our team in Markham.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per yearJob DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations within our Collision Center. This includes managing the workflow, monitoring individual technician performance, and ensuring that all client vehicles are properly tracked and maintained.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Autobody Manager, Production Manager, or Estimator, with a strong understanding of collision center operational practices, budgeting, and expense management. Excellent leadership and organizational skills are essential for this role, along with proficiency in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, and control workflow within the collision center to ensure repairs are completed on time while maximizing shop efficiency.
- Monitor individual technician performance and set action plans to improve performance where required.
- Manage professional relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Understand the financial performance of the collision center and address any operational concerns that could impact the success of the business.
- Ensure tools and equipment, including the facility, are being serviced and maintained properly.

Qualifications:- Post-Secondary education in a related discipline would be considered an asset.
- Must have previous experience as a leader and in building and mentoring a successful team.
- Strong understanding of collision center and dealership operational practices, budgeting, and expense management.
- Excellent people management skills, including leadership, employee engagement, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks, and meet required deadlines and targets.
- Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
